How are you, the members of the Korean Society for Diagnostic Hematology?
A wishful New Year of Jeongyu has dawned. I wish all the work you want to do be full of luck and blessings. The Korean Society for Diagnostic Hematology, which started as the Diagnostic Blood Study Group in 2001, has been growing rapidly in a relatively short period of time as a specialist society participated by specialists and residents in laboratory medicine and hands-on workers in diagnostic blood test laboratories.
I extend my profound thanks to past chairmen, executives, colleagues, seniors, and juniors who have devoted themselves to this society thus far. The new executives will do their best for the growth and development of the society for a year of 2017.
As the paradigm and guidelines for accurate diagnosis and differential diagnosis of blood diseases continue to be newly established these days, the Korean Society for Diagnostic Hematology will become a forum for active academic exchanges among members, and will continue cooperation with the Korean Society for Laboratory Medicine so that domestic and overseas networks can be formed through cooperation with the International Council for Standardization in Hematology (ICSH) and the International Society for Laboratory Hematology (ISLH).
